Request for help?

One of our members asks "I will go to Chesham and hope to cross the Thames at Pangbourne after I have crossed the river I am reasonably happy with the route its the bit between Chesham and Pangbourne, any knowledge or information you have regarding the best route would be most welcome?"

Awards Sweep at CTC National Dinner

Lauren Higham led the way in Guisborough with Hertfordshire CTC having one winner in each of the categories.

Lauren won the CTC Tourist Competition for junior girls, 9 points clear of the nearest challenger.

Daniel Moore and Luke Peters jointly won the award for the CTC Young Volunteer of the Year in the East of England.

The Emitremmus Ride Makers won the CTC Volunteers of the Year award for the East of England for their efforts in making the event run smoothly once again.

Stevenage & North Hertfordshire CTC won the CTC Voluntary Group of the Year for the East of England, and were second nationally.

Finally, but certainly not least, John Metcalf won the Campaigning Achievement award for the East of England and was second nationally.

Saturday 11 May - Cyclesafe event at longfields training centre

There is a HCC cyclesafe event @ Longfields Fire Service Training Centre from 10am until 2pm. They will be doing bike marking and other stuff and the HCC cycle trainers will be there doing free lessons:-) pass on the message!

So that anyone can go but not miss the ride, the planned Saturday ride will pick up from the event on route to Hitchin.
