Sorry folks but our ride maker is not willing to risk taking out a ride to Cambridge with the weather forecasters predicting temperatures below freezing on Sunday.

The C ride to Reed may still go ahead. It may be changed to a shorter ride on treated roads but it will be reviewed in daylight.

Due to the high risk of ice today's ride to Vanstone's Garden Centre has been cancelled.

The temperature is not forecast to get above freezing today so any snow that has melted due to traffic, will likely refreeze causing ice/black ice to form.

I cannot be 100% sure that it is safe to ride today, so based on what I can see and what is forecast, I am forced to cancel today's ride.

The (not the) Stevenage Start of Summertime Specials are now almost upon us (only 18 days to go).

If you have not already entered, please get your entry forms to Paul Boielle (for the 210km and 115km editions) or Luke Peters (for the 62km edition) with your 2 stamped addressed envelopes and cheque to cover your entry fee.

If you leave it too late to enter, there may not be any brevet cards so make sure you get your entry in soon. If there are any brevet cards left on the day, on the line entries will be available for an extra fee.
