October-December Rides list online

Just finalised the rides list and I have emailed around to everyone.

However the Christmas Day ride will only go out if there are sufficient people willing to ride - please let Jim know.

The PDF has now been updated. It will not be changed again - so treat the online list as the master one.

Ride Leaders please check the website for your rides to ensure errors are taken out.

Blazing Saddles - September 2013 Update

Other than a few rainy days September has been another great month for cycling even those the days have already started to grow shorter.

Alan Baxter still holds onto first place in the mens after breaking the 150 points mark this month leaving himself on a tasty 153 points. Jim Brown is still sitting firmly in second on 139 and Bob Corbett has creeped into third place on 85 points, just 1 ahead of Russ Hedger.

In the ladies, the familiar face of Lynn Bonnici remains in first place on 95 points and Elaine Walker is in second with 86 points. There's a gap of 5 points separating Elaine from Jackie Cooper in third place on 81 and then another 5 point gap between Jackie and Alison Mills in fourth place on 76.

There has been very little change in the juniors championship as our three strong cyclists are still holding their places. Lauren Higham is still leading and has 37 points with Sean Browne on 30 in second and Kieran Higham with 22 points keeping the distance ahead of any other competitors.

If you want to see the full list of results then head on over to our Blazing Saddles page.

Stolen Brompton

Taken on Wednesday 11th September 2013 from the 14.19 Biggleswade to Hitchin train at Arlesey, someone got off and snatched the bike , taking it with them.

The Brompton is quite distinctive, with both a yellow frame and yellow front forks. Also fitted with six gears, mudguards, luggage rack, dynamo lights.

Any spotters please get in touch via the website contact page or direct to the police.
