Ride Grading
All of the rides that are led by the group are given a ride grade to help our rides work out which rides are best suited for their ability. We make sure that every ride on our rides list has a suitable ride grade for the distance that is going to be covered.
The grades refer to the distance of the ride and the average speed the ride should be reaching. The lowest grade is a D which is what our Saturday Starter rides are which cover about 15 miles at an average speed of about 9mph and our highest grade is an A or A+ where you can look to cover over 50 miles at an average speed of 15mph.
The Grades

| A | Long ride at faster pace of 56 miles or more (number of miles) |
| B | Average ride at moderate pace of 40 to 55 miles. |
| C | Shorter ride at slower pace of 25 to 39 miles. |
| D | Short ride at slower pace of 15 to 24 miles. |
